OK. To summarize and close this very long thread: The bcdedit command did not work for me after creating the normal USB flash drive boot media and running the commands posted by Support on Tue Dec 03, 2024 7:58 pm. Selecting Maximum resolution in the setup dialog for UEFI Boot Manager did work. But a similar setting in TBWinRE did not, so all my TBLaucher apps launched too big for the TBWinRE window and I had to manually adjust them.
I did try the new compressed version of BootIt iso on Ventoy and it did work. Great! So all my issues are closed. However, I would still highly recommend that users make a TBWinRE iso with Windows 10, regardless of Image for Windows version, because the resulting ISO is 50% smaller than Windows 11, there is no functionality penalty, and there aren't the wallpaper and background display issues that I pointed out in my post of Wed Nov 27, 2024 12:12 pm. Thank you, Support, for you help and patience.
